1. I'm a member of CSM Online already but my log in details don't work here. Why?
You have to create a new account as a Special Member before you can access unlimited downloads. During the process you will be able to pay the subscription and then you will be brought back to fill in your profile details. Once the process is complete, you will then be able to download unlimited files for a full year. Click here to create your new account.
2. Why should I join?
We currently have over 320 items available for download (and growing!) on our main site, all available for individual purchase. The value of our entire collection of sheet music bought individually on our main store is over £160.00. Our downloadable sheet music is already sold at a fraction of the cost of printed music in shops so we have calculated that the true cost of purchasing our collection would be approximately £1000.00.
Yet our members only pay a fraction of that cost: £12.00 for a full year's access, which includes a FREE ring binder worth £1.99 to store your music in. Now that is incredible value!
3. I'd like to join but what if I pay my £12.00 and I can't download the music.
Most people have no problems downloading our music but you can go to the free sheet music section on our main site and try it out first.

Our sheet music is clear and easy to read. We do not scan old, out of date 1900s copies but we typeset and arrange to current modern standards with thoughtful editorial markings on our original arrangements.
Our work is highly professional and accurately notated. Many of our sheet music arrangements are unique and not available from music shops.
5. I use AOL and I can't get it to work properly.
Log on to the internet as usual using your AOL browser then minimise the AOL browser and open the Internet Explorer browser.
6. I downloaded a piece but I can't open it.
You need Adobe Reader to view PDF files. You can download it FREE here.

This is a known display issue with some versions of Adobe Reader. When printed the quality is excellent.

You need to download a newer version of Adobe Reader. You can get the latest version here.
9. Why don't you have any modern music?
All our music is out of copyright, which means there are no royalties to pay to the composer or the composer's estate, enabling us to sell our music at very low prices. Modern music is all under copyright, which would mean selling the music at a considerably higher price.
10. I'd like a particular piece, can I get it from you?
If it's a modern piece, then no. Copyright law in the UK states that a piece of music is under copyright for 70 years after the composer's death. If the composer died during or before 1935 then his or her work is no longer in copyright.
If this is the case, you can certainly ask. We will endeavour to obtain copies of such pieces and create new typeset editions for our customers, which will then be made available on the website for all.
11. Can you email me a piece please?
We do not email pieces of music to individuals. You must make sure you can download our music before purchasing a subscription. If there is a problem with a particular piece, such as a corrupted file, we will rectify the problem as soon as possible and you can then re-download the piece.
12. Where's your free music?
Our free music is on the main site. It can be accessed here.
13. Why do I have to give you my address?
We need your address to send you the FREE binder you are entitled to as a Special Member. If you give a false address when you join, you will not receive your binder.
14. OK, I've paid my £12.00 and created my profile but when I log in I get asked to create a profile again!
This is a known bug, which happens occasionally. Do not enter any information. You can return to your account my clicking on My Account, to the home page by clicking on the banner, or to your download list by clicking on Download List. We are working on eliminating this bug.
15. OK, I'm ready to subscribe. Now what do I do?
Simply click to be taken to Paypal's payment page where you can set up your subscription. When you have paid for your first year, you will be brought back to the site to continue.
